Single Platform Super Titan

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
These custom-built, heavy duty hydraulic lifts are designed to satisfy
the heaviest material handling and labor efficiency improvement requirements.
Available in both surface and pit mount styles and ranging in capacities from
5,000 lbs. to 52,000 lbs. and in travels from 12” to 120”, these lifts will
satisfy even the most grueling material handling needs. Typical applications
for these products are heavy duty and high cycle conveyor systems (where
downtime costs money), moving fork trucks between (2) levels, and unusually
large or bulky products that need to be raised or lowered to allow an operator
easier access to the product.

Hydraulic Freight Lifts

SPEC SUMMARY:
This line of Freightlifts offers an economical and safe way to
move materials between two levels, requiring less than 28 feet of vertical
travel. Units of this type are suitable for intermittent duty operation.
Freightlifts provide a safe and economic alternative to fork trucks and
elevators, resulting in cost savings up to 50%. This line of Freightlifts comes
equipped with matched hydraulic cylinders, cables and sheaves, or direct acting
cylinders, as well as all controls and devices necessary for two level
operation. In the lowered position the platform rests on the floor, however in
the raised position hydraulic pressure builds to eliminate hydraulic drift.
Typical applications involve retrieving or placing products in storage on a
second level or mezzanine or being utilized as part of an automated conveyor
system.
- Capacity:
- 12 models available with capacities from 1,000 to 6,000 lbs. There are six straddle and six cantilever models.
- Travel:
- Maximum height 28' with 2 stops.
- Platform:
- 3' x 3' min. to 8'x10' max.
- Speed:
- 25 fpm
- Power Unit:
- 5 hp 3-phase
- Controls:
- Two, 3-button, (up-down-stop).
- Features:
- Meets ANSI/ASME B20.1. Zero drift feature. UL listed
controls, tension platform roller, swaged cables and fleet sheave arrangement.
Accommodates C, Z, or 90 load patterns.
GATES AND ENCLOSURES:
All Freightlifts require by ANSI B20.1 code, an enclosure and gate at each landing
or stop. There are three standard gate options: A single or double outward
swinging gate panel; a horizontally sliding gate panel; or a vertically raising
gate panel. Each gate features a proven and dependable electro/mechanical
interlock that allows the gate to be opened only when the platform is at that
landing. A number of custom variations are also available.
SYSTEM INTEGRATION:
All Freightlift models can be integrated into an automated conveyor
system. Freightlift/American Custom Lifts engineers stand ready to work with any
system designer to provide custom specifications or any special accommodations
necessary. The mechanically raised and lowered models are often the easiest to
integrate into a system because they offer the most control over their stop and
start movements. However, Freightlift hydraulic models and the PackageLift have
been used quite successfully in a number of specialized applications.
Freightlift America! takes a back seat to no one in providing standard and
custom models for system integration.

Mechanical Freight Lifts

SPEC SUMMARY:
This line of Freightlifts is designed for raising product up to
100 feet while providing the operator with control for stopping at multiple
positions or multiple levels allowing for more precise control over stop-start
movements. Units of this type are suitable for continuous duty operation.
Mechanically operated by means of a brake motor and gear reducer on a common
drive shaft, the raising and lowering of the carriage is accomplished by a heavy
duty roller chain. Typical applications consist of retrieving or placing
products in storage, being utilized as part of an automated conveyor system, or
working in conjunction with horizontal conveyor systems to provide vertical lift.
- Capacity:
- 17 models available with
capacities from 1,000 to 15,000 lbs. There are six straddle, six cantilever
models and five 4 post models.
- Travel:
- Infinite stops up to 100 ft.
- Platform:
- 3' x 3' min. size, to 12' x 15' max. size.
- Speed;
- 30 fpm; higher speeds available.
- Power Unit:
- 2 hp to 20 hp motor depending on model, all 3-phase.
- Controls:
- All controls included for full call/send capability from any level.
- Features:
- Meets ANSI/ASME B20.1. Gear motor with electric brake.
Surface or pit mounted. 4 Post allows access to carriage from all four
sides.
